On A Theme In The Greek Anthology Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEE FFGGHHII

Thy petals yet are closely curledA
Rose of the worldA
Around their scented golden coreB
Nor yet has Summer purpled o'erC
Thy tender clusters that beginD
To swell withinD
The dewy vine leaves' early screenE
Of sheltering greenE
-
O hearts that are Love's helpless preyF
While yet you mayF
Fly ere the shaft is on the stringG
The fire that now is smoulderingG
Shall be the conflagration soonH
Whose paths are strewnH
With torment of blanched lips and eyesI
That agonizeI
