I Loved Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEDFGHFGH

I loved illustrious cities and the crowdsA
That eddy through their incandescent nightsB
I loved remote horizons with far cloudsA
Girdled and fringed about with snowy heightsB
I loved fair women their sweet conscious waysC
Of wearing among hands that covet and pleadD
The rose ablossom at the rainbow's baseE
That bounds the world's desire and all its needD
Nature I worshipped whose fecundityF
Embraces every vision the most fairG
Of perfect benediction From a boyH
I gloated on existence Earth to meF
Seemed all sufficient and my sojourn thereG
One trembling opportunity for joyH
