Fragment Iv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADBCD EDDEDDDDFFAAGGHIJIKK

What is Success Out of the endless oreA
Of deep desire to coin the utmost goldB
Of passionate memory to have lived so wellC
That the fifth moon when it swims up once moreA
Through orchard boughs where mating orioles buildD
And apple flowers unfoldB
Find not of that dear need that all things tellC
The heart unburdened nor the arms unfilledD
-
O Love whereof my boyhood was the dreamE
My youth the beautiful novitiateD
Life was so slight a thing and thou so greatD
How could I make thee less than all supremeE
In thy sweet transports not alone I thoughtD
Mingled the twain that panted breast to breastD
The sun and stars throbbed with them they were caughtD
Into the pulse of Nature and possessedD
By the same light that consecrates it soF
Love 'tis the payment of the debt we oweF
The beauty of the world and whensoe'erA
In silks and perfume and unloosened hairA
The loveliness of lovers face to faceG
Lies folded in the adorable embraceG
Doubt not as of a perfect sacrificeH
That soul partakes whose inspiration fillsI
The springtime and the depth of summer skiesJ
The rainbow and the clouds behind the hillsI
That excellence in earth and air and seaK
That makes things as they are the real divinityK
