| Amidst her myriad courtiers riots and rules | B |
| I too have been a suitor Radiant eyes | C |
| Were my life's warmth and sunshine outspread arms | D |
| My gilded deep horizons I rejoiced | E |
| In yielding to all amorous influence | F |
| And multiple impulsion of the flesh | G |
| To feel within my being surge and sway | H |
| The force that all the stars acknowledge too | I |

| And from the city's splendor to my eyes | C |
