Broceliande Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAAA AAA AACAAAA

Broceliande in the perilous beauty of silence and menacing shadeA
Thou art set on the shores of the sea down the hazeB
of horizons untravelled unscannedA
Untroubled untouched with the woes of this worldA
are the moon marshalled hosts that invadeA
BroceliandeA
-
Only at dusk when lavender clouds in the orient twilight disbandA
Vanishing where all the blue afternoon they have drifted in solemn paradeA
Sometimes a whisper comes down on the wind from the valleys of FairylandA
-
Sometimes an echo most mournful and faint like the horn of a huntsman strayedA
Faint and forlorn half drowned in the murmur of foliage fitfully fannedA
Breathes in a burden of nameless regret till I startleC
disturbed and affrayedA
BroceliandeA
BroceliandeA
BroceliandeA
