I miss the sound of the morning bell,
The way it rang out clear and swell,
And called us all to class, with cheer,
To learn and grow, year after year.

I miss the way the hallways bustled,
With students rushing, chatting, and hustled,
To get to class on time, with glee,
And to learn the things they needed to see.

I miss the way the classrooms smelled,
Of chalk and books, and stories we'd tell,
And the way the teachers would guide us,
Through the lessons we needed to trust.

But most of all, I miss my friends,
And the way we'd laugh and play, till the day ends,
And the way we'd learn from each other,
And grow together, like sisters and brothers.

So here's to the days when we'll return,
To the school we love, and the lessons we'll learn,
And to the friends we'll see once more,
And the memories we'll make, forevermore.
