| Or is my mind playing games | B |
| Sometimes you start feeling what you see in yourself | C |
| Not knowing if that's the truth or a lie | D |
| You start believing what you ought to ignore | E |
| As the mind is shadowed with deception | F |
| I look older than my age mentally I maybe so | G |
| T'is taking a toll on my physique | H |
| Making me look fragile fatigued | I |
| Dry lips high cheekbones sharp jaw and pointed chin | J |
| Dark eyes tired smile hopeless expression and depressed outlook | K |
| That's how my reflection sees me | L |
| That's how others see me | L |
| Have I really become that expressive | M |
| Which makes others read what I'm going through | N |
| I was too good to hold back emotions | O |
| As previously they called me 'devoid of passion' | J |
| Have I really become an open book | K |
| Which others are waiting to publish | P |
| Or is my mind heavy from holding onto heartaches | O |
| That it is starting to reveal the repressed emotions | O |
| It goes blank from time to time | Q |
| Leaving a trail of misunderstanding between us | O |
| I fail to control its presence and | R |
| Unknowingly let it control me and my thoughts | O |
