The Dark Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJBEKLMNBO

As you walk your first faltering stepA
It bears a warning to be carefulB
Ahead is a fathomless ditchC
A dark cave or an unknown terrorD
But those around boast in youE
A false belief that all is right go aheadF
And there starts the story of unendingG
Cries pains failures shame and guiltH
Which at times make you bold do ahI
Any thing you want And at times turnJ
You coward Yes A coward unmovableB
Then there is a dark night in which youE
Wander not seeing anything You strikeK
Against the rocks the stones the treesL
You fight You falter You fall You riseM
You fall You rise You scream You craveN
For the end of the dark night And finallyB
When you are to give up the night ends in your EndO
