The Dark Night
As you walk your first--- faltering step,
It bears a warning to be careful,
Ahead is a fathomless ditch;
A dark cave or an unknown terror.
But those around boast in you
A false belief that all is right "go ahead".
And there starts the story of unending
Cries, pains, failures, shame and guilt,
Which at times make you bold do ah!
Any thing you want. And at times turn
You coward. Yes. A coward unmovable.
Then, there is a dark night in which you
Wander, not seeing anything. You strike
Against the rocks, the stones, the trees,
You fight. You falter! You fall! You rise!
You fall! You rise! You scream! You crave
For the end of the dark night. And finally,
When you are to give up, the night ends in your End.
