When you put a pen to paperA
You're reaching outB
Deep into you're mindC
You're reaching outB
For that inspirationD
-
That never comesE
So you put down your pen onto the paperA
Reaching out into your mindC
Just waitingF
And waitingF
For that special inspiration to hitG
-
It doesn't answerA
Your desperate callH
You pick up the penI
And place it once moreJ
On the paperA
-
HopingF
Just hopingF
For that rare and special inspiration to hitG
The tiniest of whispersK
That are supposed to take holdL
-
To circle in your headM
Like a toy trainN
On its little train tracksO
And on its even tinier wheelsP
But the train of thought never comesE
-
You put down the penI
In frustrationD
When a whisper of a whisperA
Steals into your mindC
Like a thiefQ
-
It grows and grows like wildfireA
Burning everything in its pathR
To make its way to the frontS
Of your mindC
That special inspirationD
-
That you waited and waited forJ
Has arrivedT
When it reached its destinationD
You just want to jump out of your chairU
And yell EurekaV
-
So once more you that pen to paperA
But ink doesn't come outB
That rare and special inspiration pours out insteadM
The paper and the pen are the sameW
Only you have changedX
-
Because you're filled upY
With that ever so cherishedZ
Rare and specialA2
InspirationD
The kind that has you yelling EurekaV
