The Legend Of The Ghost Ship Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GHGH

In the pale moon of redA
A ship rises to sail the seventeen seasB
Crew to pirates that cheated the fate of the deadA
Pirates that can't seem to even pronounce the word pleaseB
-
The ghost ship rises and falls with the tideC
They plunder loot and stealD
They lie only to satisfy their prideC
But the most feared is the one behind the wheelD
-
The Ghost King has no regretsE
For he has done it all he is the bestF
As time passes on the more fearsome he getsE
Don't joke don't jestF
-
Hope hope that you never come face to faceG
With the Ghost KingH
Or that his crew gives chaseG
You might end up like them or their playthingH
