Standing on a dead man's chestA
Hold a bottle of rumB
And if you haven't guessedA
The pirate king wears the skins of scumsC

The Pirate King doesn't need to wear a crownD
Not when he has a hook for a handE
Not when he is the unofficial ruler of this townD

He steals and he plundersC
He lies and he lootsC
Even when he has a cave of wondersC
And has ten thousand and one dead recruitsC

The Pirate King drunk as a skunkF
Still a fearsome sightG
His ship has never been sunkF
His soul has no lightG
