The End Of The Furrow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH

When we come to the end of the furrowA
When our last day's work is doneB
We will drink of the long red shaft of lightC
That slants from the westering sunB
-
We will turn from the field of our labourD
From the warm earth glad and brownE
And wend our feet up that village streetF
And with our folk lie downE
-
Yea after the long toil surceaseG
Rest to the hearts that roamH
When we join in the mystic silence of eveI
The glad procession homeH
