The Sovereign Poet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CCDD EFEEF

HE sits above the clang and dust of TimeA
With the world's secret trembling on his lipB
He asks not converse or companionshipB
In the cold starlight where thou canst not climbA
-
The undelivered tidings in his breastC
Suffer him not to restC
He sees afar the immemorable throngD
And binds the scattered ages with a songD
-
The glorious riddle of his rhythmic breathE
His might his spell we know not what they beF
We only feel whate'er he utterethE
This savors not of deathE
This hath a relish of eternityF
