Reluctant Summer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABABAB CDCDCDCD

Reluctant Summer once a maidA
Full easy of accessB
In many a bee frequented shadeA
Thou didst thy lover blessB
Divinely unreproved I playedA
Then with each liberal tressB
And art thou grown at last afraidA
Of some too close caressB
-
Or deem'st that if thou shouldst abideC
My passion might decayD
Thou leav'st me pining and deniedC
Coyly thou say'st me nayD
Ev'n as I woo thee to my sideC
Thou importuned to stayD
Like Orpheus' half recovered brideC
Ebb'st from my arms awayD
