Mensis Lacrimarum Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEF

March that comes roaring maned with rampant pawsA
And bleatingly withdrawsA
March 'tis the year's fantastic nondescriptB
That born when frost hath nippedB
The shivering fields or tempest scarred the hillsC
Dies crowned with daffodilsC
The month of the renewal of the earthD
By mingled death and birthD
But England in this latest of thy yearsE
Call it the Month of TearsF
