An Ode To The Queen Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDEFGHIJKKLM

All hail to the Empress of India Great Britain's QueenA
Long may she live in health happy and sereneA
Loved by her subjects at home and abroadB
Blest may she be when lying downC
To sleep and rising up by the Eternal GodD
Happy may her visions be in sleepE
And happy her thoughts in the day timeF
Let all loyal subjects drink to her healthG
In a flowing bumper of Rhenish WineH
And when the final hour shall come to summon her awayI
May her soul be wafted to the realms of blissJ
I most sincerely do pray to sing with saints aboveK
Where all is joy peace and loveK
In Heaven for evermore to reignL
God Save the Queen AmenM
