But when I took to dabbing tar | B |
And picking up on Blaringar | B |
The cook when barbers came at morn | C |
To get a snack would say with scorn | C |
Tea on the left | D |
Coffee on the right | E |
Brownie on the bunk and blast yez | F |

Two buckets o'er the fire would be | H |
One filled with coffee one with tea | H |
And when the chaps came filing in | I |
The cook would say with mirthless grin | I |

And had a very ugly look | J |
To me a new chum rouseabout | E |
Said he one day when all were out | E |
