By William Lee Swafford
Her ore and shine she’s like the moon
To orbit these skies with lovers tune
Silvery splendor the nights only one
Moonlight it floods, till she’s gone
In wondrous clouds upon the waves
Mirrors her face, on ocean ways
Night of mine she’s amid the stars
Each never gleams, as quite you are
Distantly dazzle shall not wither no matter what we are together.
