By William Lee SwaffordA
-
Lay you down in a bed of Rose'sB
-
Allow you to caress my soulC
-
Live for the momentD
-
When two parts can become wholeC
-
I see me in youE
-
Feel you in meF
-
Twisted into one as only real lovers can beF
-
You are the wind of the hurricaneG
-
I ll be the eye of your stormH
-
You be the hills of the valleyF
-
I ll be the sun keeping you warmH
-
You will be in the places I won t allow others to seeF
-
You fill my emptiness my shores to your seaF
-
Needing you like one needs breath to breathI
-
Enter into each other with a spiritual easeJ
-
Pick you up from the bed of rosesB
-
Walk on a rainbow over the cloudsK
-
Holding hands with one anotherL
-
Two lovers standing proudM
-
Just avoid the thorns on the stemsN
-
Just avoid the crowdM
-
Keeping things silentD
-
That you want to shout out loudM
-
That I love you and that you love meF
-
Upon the bed of roses is where we only find peaceO

Poet's note: I wrote it for a love that was so true it was written a while ago. The feelings were very strong.
