When I Met My Muse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGCHHI

I glanced at her and took my glassesA
off they were still singing They buzzedB
like a locust on the coffee table and thenC
ceased Her voice belled forth and theD
sunlight bent I felt the ceiling arch andE
knew that nails up there took a new gripF
on whatever they touched I am your ownG
way of looking at things she said WhenC
you allow me to live with you everyH
glance at the world around you will beH
a sort of salvation And I took her handI
