| with all the softness truth requires | B |
| I feel them shrug whenever I pause | C |
| they class my voice among tentative things | A |

| I dance my way toward the family of knowing | D |
| embracing stray error as a long lost boy | E |
| and bringing him home with my fluttering | D |

| Every quick feather asserts a just claim | F |
| it bites like a saw into white pine | G |
| I communicate right but explain to the dean | H |
| well Right has a long and intricate name | F |
