An Appeal Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBBDED FDGDBHBH

Oh is there not one maiden breastA
Which does not feel the moral beautyB
Of making worldly interestC
Subordinate to sense of dutyB
Who would not give up willinglyB
All matrimonial ambitionD
To rescue such a one as IE
From his unfortunate positionD
-
Oh is there not one maiden hereF
Whose homely face and bad complexionD
Have caused all hopes to disappearG
Of ever winning man's affectionD
To such a one if such there beB
I swear by heaven's arch above youH
If you will cast your eyes on meB
However plain you be I'll love youH
