A Mirage Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABACCCBA DDDEAFFFGA HHHIAJJJIA KKKLAMMMLA

Were I thy brideA
Then the whole world besideA
Were not too wideA
To hold my wealth of loveB
Were I thy brideA
Upon thy breastC
My loving head would restC
As on her nestC
The tender turtle doveB
Were I thy brideA
-
This heart of mineD
Would be one heart with thineD
And in that shrineD
Our happiness would dwellE
Were I thy brideA
And all day longF
Our lives should be a songF
No grief no wrongF
Should make my heart rebelG
Were I thy brideA
-
The silvery fluteH
The melancholy luteH
Were night owl's hootH
To my low whispered cooI
Were I thy brideA
The skylark's trillJ
Were but discordance shrillJ
To the soft thrillJ
Of wooing as I'd wooI
Were I thy brideA
-
The rose's sighK
Were as a carrion's cryK
To lullabyK
Such as I'd sing to theeL
Were I thy brideA
A feather's pressM
Were leaden heavinessM
To my caressM
But then unhappilyL
I'm not thy brideA
