Primroses Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEFF GHGHII

They shine upon my table thereA
A constellation mimic sweetB
No stars in Heaven could shine more fairA
Nor Earth has beauty more completeB
And on my table there they shineC
And speak to me of things DivineC
-
In Heaven at first they grew and whenD
God could no fairer make them HeE
Did plant them by the ways of menD
For all the pure in heart to seeE
That each might shine upon its stemF
And be a light from Him to themF
-
They speak of things above my verseG
Of thoughts no earthly language knowsH
That loftiest Bard could ne'er rehearseG
Nor holiest prophet e'er discloseH
Which God Himself no other wayI
Than by a Primrose could conveyI
