Rhyme Scheme: A BC DEDE FBFBDEDE GHGHDEDE

FROM THE SPANISHA
-
-
Vientecico murmuradorB
Que lo gozas y andas todo cC
-
-
Airs that wander and murmur roundD
Bearing delight where'er ye blowE
Make in the elms a lulling soundD
While my lady sleeps in the shade belowE
-
Lighten and lengthen her noonday restF
Till the heat of the noonday sun is o'erB
Sweet be her slumbers though in my breastF
The pain she has waked may slumber no moreB
Breathing soft from the blue profoundD
Bearing delight where'er ye blowE
Make in the elms a lulling soundD
While my lady sleeps in the shade belowE
-
Airs that over the bending boughsG
And under the shade of pendent leavesH
Murmur soft like my timid vowsG
Or the secret sighs my bosom heavesH
Gently sweeping the grassy groundD
Bearing delight where'er ye blowE
Make in the elms a lulling soundD
While my lady sleeps in the shade belowE
