The Old Man's Funeral Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACC DEDEFF

Ye sigh not when the sun his course fulfilledA
His glorious course rejoicing earth and skyB
In the soft evening when the winds are stilledA
Sinks where his islands of departure spreadC
O'er the warm colored heaven and ruddy mountain headC
-
Why weep ye then for him who having wonD
The bound of man's appointed years at lastE
Life's blessings all enjoyed life's labors doneD
Serenely to his final rest has passedE
While the soft memory of his virtues yetF
Lingers like twilight hues when the bright sun is setF
