I Broke The Spell That Held Me Long. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEEFF GGHHAA

I broke the spell that held me longA
The dear dear witchery of songA
I said the poet's idle loreB
Shall waste my prime of years no moreB
For Poetry though heavenly bornC
Consorts with poverty and scornC
-
I broke the spell nor deemed its powerD
Could fetter me another hourD
Ah thoughtless how could I forgetE
Its causes were around me yetE
For wheresoe'er I looked the whileF
Was nature's everlasting smileF
-
Still came and lingered on my sightG
Of flowers and streams the bloom and lightG
And glory of the stars and sunH
And these and poetry are oneH
They ere the world had held me longA
Recalled me to the love of songA
