Fallen Majesty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE

Although crowds gathered once if she but showed her faceA
And even old men's eyes grew dim this hand aloneB
Like some last courtier at a gypsy camping placeA
Babbling of fallen majesty records what's goneC
-
These lineaments a heart that laughter has made sweetD
These these remain but I record what's gone A crowdE
Will gather and not know it walks the very streetD
Whereon a thing once walked that seemed a burning cloudE
