Aedh Gives His Beloved Certain Rhymes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCACC DEFDEF

Fasten your hair with a golden pinA
And bind up every wandering tressB
I bade my heart build these poor rhymesC
It worked at them day out day inA
Building a sorrowful lovelinessC
Out of the battles of old timesC
-
You need but lift a pearl pale handD
And bind up your long hair and sighE
And all men's hearts must burn and beatF
And candle like foam on the dim sandD
And stars climbing the dew dropping skyE
Live but to light your passing feetF
