Great, Wide, Beautiful, Wonderful World Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GGBBBB

Great wide beautiful wonderful WorldA
With the wonderful water round you curledA
And the wonderful grass upon your breastB
World you are beautifully drestB
-
The wonderful air is over meC
And the wonderful wind is shaking the treeC
It walks on the water and whirls the millsD
And talks to itself on the tops of the hillsD
-
You friendly Earth how far do you goE
With the wheat fields that nod and the rivers that flowE
With cities and gardens and cliffs and islesF
And people upon you for thousands of milesF
-
Ah you are so great and I am so smallG
I tremble to think of you World at allG
And yet when I said my prayers to dayB
A whisper inside me seemed to sayB
quot You are more than the Earth though you are such a dotB
You can love and think and the Earth cannot quotB
