In Snow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABACDAEFGFFE

O English mother in the ruddy glowA
Hugging your baby closer when outsideB
You see the silent soft and cruel snowA
Falling again and think what ills betideB
Unshelter'd creatures your sad thoughts may goA
Where War and Winter now two spectre wolvesC
Hunt in the freezing vapour that involvesD
Those Asian peaks of ice and gulfs belowA
Does this young Soldier heed the snow that fillsE
His mouth and open eyes or mind in truthF
To night his mother's parting syllablesG
Ha is't a red coat Merely blood Keep ruthF
For others this is but an Afghan youthF
Shot by the stranger on his native hillsE
