Through voiceless vales o'er lawn and purpled hill | C |
And haz d mead her mystery to fulfil | C |
Cows low from far off farms the loitering wind | B |
Sighs in the hedge you hear it if you will | C |
Tho' all the wood alive atop with wings | A |
Lifting and sinking through the leafy nooks | A |
Seethes with the clamour of a thousand rooks | A |
Now every sound at length is hush'd away | D |
These few are sacred moments One more Day | D |
Drops in the shadowy gulf of bygone things | A |
