A Dream Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

I heard the dogs howl in the moonlight nightA
I went to the window to see the sightA
All the Dead that ever I knewB
Going one by one and two by twoB
-
On they pass'd and on they pass'dC
Townsfellows all from first to lastC
Born in the moonlight of the laneD
Quench'd in the heavy shadow againE
-
Schoolmates marching as when they play'dF
At soldiers once but now more staidF
Those were the strangest sight to meG
Who were drown'd I knew in the awful seaG
-
Straight and handsome folk bent and weak tooB
Some that I loved and gasp'd to speak toB
Some but a day in their churchyard bedH
Some that I had not known were deadH
-
A long long crowd where each seem'd lonelyG
Yet of them all there was one one onlyG
Raised a head or look'd my wayI
She linger'd a moment she might not stayI
-
How long since I saw that fair pale faceJ
Ah Mother dear might I only placeJ
My head on thy breast a moment to restK
While thy hand on my tearful cheek were prestK
-
On on a moving bridge they madeF
Across the moon stream from shade to shadeF
Young and old women and menE
Many long forgot but remembered thenE
-
And first there came a bitter laughterL
A sound of tears a moment afterL
And then a music so lofty and gayI
That eve morning day by dayI
I strive to recall it if I mayI
