Autumn Days Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDAA ABABEBEBAA

Yellow mellow ripened daysA
Sheltered in a golden coatingB
O'er the dreamy listless hazeA
White and dainty cloudlets floatingB
Winking at the blushing treesC
And the sombre furrowed fallowD
Smiling at the airy easeC
Of the southward flying swallowD
Sweet and smiling are thy waysA
Beauteous golden Autumn daysA
-
Shivering quivering tearful daysA
Fretfully and sadly weepingB
Dreading still with anxious gazeA
Icy fetters round thee creepingB
O'er the cheerless withered plainE
Woefully and hoarsely callingB
Pelting hail and drenching rainE
On thy scanty vestments fallingB
Sad and mournful are thy waysA
Grieving wailing Autumn daysA
