Quiet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDCE FGGHHF

Only the footprints of the partridge runA
Over the billowy drifts on the mountain sideB
And now on level wings the brown birds glideB
Following the snowy curves and in the sunA
Bright birds of gold above the stainless whiteC
They move and as the pale blue shadows moveD
With them my heart glides on in golden flightC
Over the hills of quiet to my loveE
-
Storm shaken racked with terror through the longF
Tempestuous night in the quiet blue of mornG
Love drinks the crystal airs and peace newbornG
Within his troubled heart on wings aglowH
Soars into rapture as from the quiet snowH
The golden birds and out of silence songF
