Lament Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCB DDEED

We who are left how shall we look againA
Happily on the sun or feel the rainB
Without remembering how they who wentC
Ungrudgingly and spentC
Their lives for us loved too the sun and rainB
-
A bird among the rain wet lilac singsD
But we how shall we turn to little thingsD
And listen to the birds and winds and streamsE
Made holy by their dreamsE
Nor feel the heart break in the heart of thingsD
