And roll d it off again | G |
So if there ever was a sigh | F |
T was not a sigh of pain | H |

I may not call thee back but thou | I |
Returnest when the hand | J |
Of gentle Sleep waves o er my brow | I |
His poppy crested wand | K |

Then smiling eyes bend over mine | L |
Then lips once press d invite | M |
But sleep hath given a silent sign | L |
And both alas take flight | M |
