To Youth Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FGFH IJIK LMLM

WHERE art thou gone light ankled YouthA
With wing at either shoulderB
And smile that never left thy mouthC
Until the Hours grew colderB
-
Then somewhat seem d to whisper nearD
That thou and I must partE
I doubted it I felt no fearD
No weight upon the heartE
-
If aught befell it Love was byF
And roll d it off againG
So if there ever was a sighF
T was not a sigh of painH
-
I may not call thee back but thouI
Returnest when the handJ
Of gentle Sleep waves o er my browI
His poppy crested wandK
-
Then smiling eyes bend over mineL
Then lips once press d inviteM
But sleep hath given a silent signL
And both alas take flightM
