Separation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCCB

There is a mountain and a wood between usA
Where the lone shepherd and late bird have seen usA
Morning and noon and eventide repassB
Between us now the mountain and the woodC
Seem standing darker than last year they stoodC
And say we must not cross alas alasB
