Here, Ever Since You Went Abroad, Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH

Here ever since you went abroadA
If there be change no change I seeB
I only walk our wonted roadC
The road is only walkt by meB
-
Yes I forgot a change there isD
Was it of that you bade me tellE
I catch at times at times I missF
The sight the tone I know so wellE
-
Only two months since you stood hereG
Two shortest months then tell me whyH
Voices are harsher than they wereI
And tears are longer ere they dryH
