Winter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCB DDEFE GGHIH

Clouded with snowA
The cold winds blowA
And shrill on leafless boughB
The robin with its burning breastC
Alone sings nowB
-
The rayless sunD
Day's journey doneD
Sheds its last ebbing lightE
On fields in leagues of beauty spreadF
Unearthly whiteE
-
Thick draws the darkG
And spark by sparkG
The frost fires kindle and soonH
Over that sea of frozen foamI
Floats the white moonH
