The Raven's Tomb Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEBEEEFEGHIHJKLM

'Build me my tomb ' the Raven saidA
'Within the dark yew treeB
So in the Autumn yewberriesC
Sad lamps may burn for meB
Summon the haunted beetleD
From twilight bud and bloomE
To drone a gloomy dirge for meB
At dusk above my tombE
Beseech ye too the glowwormE
To bear her cloudy flameE
Where the small flickering bats resortF
Whistling in tears my nameE
Let the round dew a whisper makeG
Welling on twig and thornH
And only the grey cock at nightI
Call through his silver hornH
And you dear sisters don your blackJ
For ever and a dayK
To show how sweet a ravenL
In his tomb is laid away 'M
