The Old House Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEAA

A very very old house I knowA
And ever so many people goA
Past the small lodge forlorn and stillB
Under the heavy branches tillB
Comes the blank wall and there's the doorC
Go in they do come out no moreC
No voice says aught no spark of lightD
Across that threshold cheers the sightD
Only the evening star on highE
Less lonely makes a lonely skyE
As one by one the people goA
Into that very old house I knowA
