The Fairy In Winter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEF GEEHAE CIEEJ EE

There was a Fairy flake of winterA
Who when the snow came whispering SilenceB
Sister crystal to crystal sighingC
Making of meadow argent palaceD
Night a star sown solitudeE
Cried 'neath her frozen eaves I burn hereF
-
Wings diaphanous beating bee likeG
Wand within fingers locks enspangledE
Icicle foot lip sharp as scarletE
She lifted her eyes in her pitch black hollowH
Green as stalks of weeds in waterA
Breathed stirredE
-
Rilled from her heart the ichor coursingC
Flamed and awoke her slumbering magicI
Softlier than moth's her pinions trembledE
Out into blackness light like she flitteredE
Leaving her hollow cold forsakenJ
-
In air o'er crystal rang twangling night windE
Bare rimed pine woods murmured lamentE
