The Dreamer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKLK

O thou who giving helm and swordA
Gav'st too the rusting rainB
And starry dark's all tender dewsC
To blunt and stainB
-
Out of the battle I am spedD
Unharmed yet stricken soreE
A living shape amid whispering shadesF
On Lethe's shoreE
-
No trophy in my hands I bringG
To this sad sighing streamH
The neighings and the trumps and criesI
Were but a dreamH
-
Traitor to life of life betrayedJ
O of thy mercy deepK
A dream my all the all I askL
Is sleepK
