Tartary Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDE AFAFGGGF FHAHFFFH FIFIHHHI

If I were Lord of TartaryA
Myself and me aloneB
My bed should be of ivoryA
Of beaten gold my throneB
And in my court should peacocks flauntC
And in my forests tigers hauntC
And in my pools great fishes slantD
Their fins athwart the sunE
-
If I were Lord of TartaryA
Trumpeters every dayF
To all my meals should summon meA
And in my courtyards brayF
And in the evening lamps should shineG
Yellow as honey red as wineG
While harp and flute and mandolineG
Made music sweet and gayF
-
If I were Lord of TartaryF
I'd wear a robe of beadsH
White and gold and green they'd beA
And small and thick as seedsH
And ere should wane the morning starF
I'd don my robe and scimitarF
And zebras seven should draw my carF
Through Tartary's dark gleadesH
-
Lord of the fruits of TartaryF
Her rivers silver paleI
Lord of the hills of TartaryF
Glen thicket wood and daleI
Her flashing stars her scented breezeH
Her trembling lakes like foamless seasH
Her bird delighting citron treesH
In every purple valeI
