Sea-magic Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDBBCDB EAAFGE

TO R IA
-
-
My heart faints in me for the distant seaB
The roar of London is the roar of ireC
The lion utters in his old desireD
For Libya out of dim captivityB
The long bright silver of Cheapside I seeB
Her gilded weathercocks on roof and spireC
Exulting eastward in the western fireD
All things recall one heart sick memoryB
-
Ever the rustle of the advancing foamE
The surges' desolate thunder and the cryA
As of some lone babe in the whispering skyA
Ever I peer into the restless gloomF
To where a ship clad dim and loftilyG
Looms steadfast in the wonder of her homeE
