Mr Nobody Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHJECE KLMLNEOE PNNNQERE

I know a funny little manA
As quiet as a mouseB
Who does the mischief that is doneC
In everybody s houseB
There s no one ever sees his faceD
And yet we all agreeE
That every plate we break was crackedF
By Mr NobodyE
-
Tis he who always tears our booksG
who leaves our doors ajarH
he pulls the buttons from our shirtsI
and scatters pins afarH
that squeaking door will always squeakJ
because of this you seeE
we leave the oiling to be doneC
by Mr NobodyE
-
He puts damp wood upon the fireK
So kettles cannot boilL
His are the feet that bring in mudM
And all the carpets soilL
The papers always are mislaidN
Who had them last but heE
There s no one tosses them aboutO
But Mr NobodyE
-
The finger marked upon the doorP
By none of us are madeN
We never leave the blind unclosedN
To let the curtains fadeN
The ink we never spill the bootsQ
That lying round you SeeE
Are not our boots they all belongR
To Mr NobodyE
