Life Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADD EEFFGG

Hearken O dear now strikes the hour we dieA
We who in our strange kissB
Have proved a dream the world's realitiesC
Turned each from other's darkness with a sighA
Need heed no more of life waste no more breathD
On any other journey but of deathD
-
And yet Oh know we wellE
How each of us must prove Love's infidelE
Still out of ecstasy turn trembling backF
To earth's same empty trackF
Of leaden day by day and hour by hour and beG
Of all things lovely the cold mortuaryG
