Happy, Happy It Is To Be Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCBDDEE FGHGIJKJEE

Happy happy it is to beA
Where the greenwood hangs o'er the dark blue seaA
To roam in the moonbeams clear and stillB
And dance with the elvesC
Over dale and hillB
To taste their cups and with them roamD
The field for dewdrops and honeycombD
Climb then and come as quick as you canE
And dwell with the fairies Elizabeth AnnE
-
Never never comes tear or sorrowF
In the mansions old where the fairies dwellG
But only the harping of their sweet harp stringsH
And the lonesome stroke of a distant bellG
Where upon hills of thyme and heatherI
The shepherd sits with his wandering sheepJ
And the curlew wails and the skylark hoversK
Over the sand where the conies creepJ
Climb then and come as quick as you canE
And dwell with the fairies Elizabeth AnnE
